If I have to choose a quote I would choose “Less is more” by adding that “sometimes it’s boring”, but poor Mies…

Product design is for me a nonstop conflict with gravity and boredom. No matter what is the cultural reference the product will carry with, I will always try to make It look lighter, tricky, intriguing.

A product is a shapeless dancing volume witch in a blink of eye becomes a table, a chair, a lamp… Materials and production process knowledge will make it real; Market knowledge, customer needs understanding and selling skills will make it reach the target.
